VauhtiWerneri 2
VauhtiWerner's advanced course, intended for more experienced skiers (over 8 years old), is suitable for children who are already skiing quickly by plowing on medium-difficult slopes and whose skis are already running in parallel, at least on easier slopes. In the course, e.g. to make long- and short-radius turns with parallel skis, and looking for landing confidence for a faster descent, even on the most demanding slopes.
Practical Information
The minimum number of participants in the courses is three people. If the number of participants is lower, the ski school reserves the right to change the pricing to suit private lessons.
Please read the following instructions carefully:
Arrival
Please arrive at Tahko Mountain at least 30 minutes before the start of the lesson. We recommend driving your car to the ice park when it is open (Tahkolaaksontie 1, follow the signs to the ice park). The following The closest parking areas are located at Tahkolaaksontie 1 and next to the restaurant Piazza (Sääskiniementie 560).
Ski passes
During the course, lift rides are included in the price. Those participating in the Werneri courses can buy a ski pass at a special price of €30/2-day course, €45/3-day course, €60/4-day course. Note! The slope ticket offer does not apply to junior and adult courses. Please note that children under the age of 6 do not need a slope ticket when they put their helmets on and go with an adult at the same gate opening.
Equipment rental
If the child does not have his own equipment, you can rent them with a special price of €15/day from the SkiMac Tirol equipment rental company. When renting, mention that the child is participating in the Werneri course. The package includes skis/snowboard, skis, poles and helmet. If you rent equipment, arrive early, as the rental company may be crowded. It is good to be there at least 45 minutes before the start of the course. If the child uses their own or siblings'/acquaintance's children's old equipment, check the compatibility of the bindings and overalls at the rental company. Participants in group courses for adults and young people receive equipment for the duration of the course at a reduced price: 2h standard set for adults €26, 2h junior set €18.

Meeting Point
Lessons start at the ski school's Meeting Point (next to the SkiMac Tirol rental office).
Equipment and clothing
• The use of a helmet is mandatory in ski school courses and lessons.
• Pay attention to clothing according to the weather
• The ski school does not have an actual frost limit.
• Correct binding adjustments to avoid damage
• Also pay attention to the child's toilet maintenance.
• During teaching, it is good for parents to be out of the child's sight.
Delay
If you are going to be late, please inform the ski school before the lesson starts. Attention: if you are more than 10 minutes late, the ski school has the right to cancel the lesson, and the payment will not be refunded.
Realization of the courses
If the course does not take place, the ski school will contact you the day before. The minimum number of participants in the course is three people.
Cancellation terms
• The reservation can be cancelled free of charge 24 hours before the start of the lesson.
• If the cancellation is not made, the ski school has the right to charge the course/hour fee in full.
